Hi everyone re diesel Allhambra 51 plate I found the servo pipe had slit as it goes into the servo, ive sleeved it and put on 2 jubilee clips, in your experience would you replace the whole pipe incase the split splits more? if so would you replace with re enforced servo pipe or would you fit an original plastic pipe??? how big a job will this be ???? Thanks Garry

Brakes Hard
garrymossley replied to garrymossley's topic in Ford Galaxy Technical Section MK I MK II
Hi Garry You do not say if it is a petrol or diesel, but it sounds like a servo problem, the main thing to check is the vaccume pipes for a split/blockage,if it is a diesel check the vac pump is working ok, if all the vac system is ok , its poss the servo its self, and poss a replacment, I think you can get a seal repair kit, but unless you are ofay with how to do it, I think it is easy'er to replace. Radiotwo Hi its a 51 plate diesel Thanks -

Windows Fogging Up
garrymossley replied to garrymossley's topic in What thing irritate you about your Galaxy
Hello Adrian Thanks for your advise on the fogging windows, i found you were exactly right in what you said, damp leaves , blockage down by passenger strutt, i used a hose pipe with the fitting taken off to clear the leaves and then fed the the hose pipe deep down in the corners to clear the blockage down by the stutts, hey presto the mucky water eventually ran out under the wheel arch blockage cleared the drivers side didnt appear to be blocked but the passenger side was FOGGING HAS CLEARED Thanks everyone for your suggestions on this one, using the hose pipe really saved a lot of time, i regulated the water supply by bending the pipe to turn the supply on and off ! nothing like a good flushing out ! top tip Regards Garry -

can someone help, i have a real problem of my winscreen fogging up , there dosnt appear to be any damp/water ingress, when the weather has turned colder and damper its been a real pain, i had this last year in the winter and resulted in using holts anti fog, it seemed to work but got quite smeary when the sun shone through the screen making it difficult to see out, can anyone advise as to why this is happening, ive heard of lots of people with this same problem, the front screen blowers is just not powerful enough to clear it , it can take 10 minites to clear with a lot of wiping too A huge headache  the vehicle is a late 2001 model Thanks all
