  1. Thanks for all the replys lol .I have had the auto box fixed .The problem was a selenoid in the auto box. After spending an age looking across the internet i found a mechanic in Morley , Leeds and before i could finish explaining what was wrong he stopped me in mid sentence and explained the problem.
  2. Hello and thanks for taking time to read my problem. It all started on saturday night , when my alterantor went. Had a new alternator fitted (correct type).Battery fully discharged, so i took the battery off and charged it.The problem now is that after about 10 mins or so the auto gearbox is realy lumpy when changing and there is no power, but it still drives.I have had a auto electrician to look at it and the only faults he could find where the following: Fuse for consumtion cut off (s157) , he says it might be the brake light switch causing the problems , is this possible ?. The car has always been serviced at reqular intervals , its done about 60 thousand miles from new.And also the internal lighting isnt working.Im just about to be made unemployed so money is realy realy tight and any help would be apreciated regarding this problem. The car is as follows Galaxy 1.9 TDI Auto On a 05 plate Thanks for reading the above
