My v6 4x4 top fan was not cutting in but the bottom one was running fine. I replaced the top one and now that cuts in as required but the bottom one will not. If I unplug the top one then the bottom one will run so I know the fan motors are fine. I thought that the bottom one was the usual one to run with the top one cutting in with the aircon or as extra and that both fans should run with the aircon on maximum cooling but no way can I get both running. Any help appreciated as the car overheats in hot weather.
