Hi, My Galaxy 2002 tdi has developed a problem. When accelerating the is a loud whistling noise, almost like compressed air being released, the is also no pick up. It takes a lifetime to reach motorway speeds. Also when going uphill when you have to accelerate hard there are plumes of black smoke coming from the exhaust. My first impression is that it could be a spilt turbo pipe, but now because of the black smoke I think it could be something different. Anyone got any ideas. Thanks Gall72
