Thanks chrispb, will check them out. Seatkid, i've searched creaking on this site and everything relates to top bearings/bushs and drop links. As i've already wrote, i've already replaced both of these, hence why i've posted a new message for help!

Hi, we have a mark 2 2001 2.3 galaxy zetec. Recently when the car is moving (fast & slow) and you turn the steering wheel almost to full lock in either direction, the car creaks really loudly!! (at the front) almost like the suspension is broke or something. Anyway I (with great pain :)) have just replaced both front shock asborbers (inc new top bearings & rubbers), both front drop links (genuine ford) and both track rod ends. Feeling good with myself, I fired it up, started reversing off the drive, turned full lock to the right and the creaking is still there!!!!! I lost my patients at this point! If the car is standing still and I turn full lock in either direction, there is no creaking. But start to move and it starts!! Can anybody help me and suggest what might be wrong? Thanks

I've just managed to borrow a multi meter off a mate and he's gave me a crash course. But what kind of readings am I looking for and where abouts do I take the reading (i.e connector)? Thanks

How can I test the wheel sensors if I don't have a multi meter? Thanks

The ABS light has just come on & stayed on, on our 2001 galaxy 2.3. I've connected the fault code reader, but there are no DTC codes recorded! When there is a fault with the ABS, does it record a fault code? Thanks for any help.

Hi all, my first post on this forum. I have a mk2 galaxy 2001 model (2.3). The problem I have is the wiper blades keep on getting stuck on the windscreen, at low speed/using the intermittent switch. At full speed, they glide against the windscreen with no problems. Has anybody got any advice what could be wrong? I was wondering if its a power problem. Thanks for any help :)
