i did that and only got a few back, through the grill or from underneath, you can not see or feel, the catch... what now?

OK, mate loaned me his Ford Galaxy. Its an N reg. He is on his HOLS. I hear a noise coming from the engine compartment and wanted to take a look. The bonet cable has pulled out and i cant open the bonet. Ive tried looking under neath and all i can see is radiator. I tried going in from the front with the grill, but yet again, radiater. Anyone that has one, can you look andsee if i can take to radiater off wholy from underneath or some other way to click the catch at the front, open? The grill wont come all the way off as it sticks near the catch !!! HELP HELP HELP !
