We own a 02 Ford Galaxy 1.9TDi Ghia. We are experiencing electrical problems that suddenly started while our car was in for a partial respray, garage fitted 2 new headlight assemblies, window switch, removed and refitted rear tail light cluster, they also replaced a side repeater lamp, but while they had our car electrical faults suddenly started for eg ABS motor running constantly, ABS and brake warning light illuminated, electric windows, central locking, heater, indicators stopped working while they had the car, although they have largely restored some of these faults, with the exception of the 2 rear windows, the fuel guage is acting erratically, and door sensor light illuminating on dash even though door is firmly shut and the ABS still a problem, NON of these problems were existing when our car went into this garage, it was in daily use up until the day the garage collected it for respray, they had it over 2 weeks and reported non of the above faults because there was non until they started to put everything back together again following the respray of course they are saying that it is nothing they have touched but that doesn't help us as we now have a car that we cannot use, the ABS motor that is continually running drains the battery and renders the car un-useable. Can anyone please shed any light on what could possibly be the problem or explain what could have happened while our car was in the garage, please bear in mind once again that we had no prior electrical problems. The reason our car was in for a respray was because it had been vandalised by acid, the insurance assesser is saying that the electrical problems are not a result of the acid. Hope someone can helps us. Thanks Janey
