hi my name is tiny, i drive a 2000 model 1.9 tdi galaxy, and just recently the gear stick will not select any other gear than 3rd or 4th, however if i put my hand down behind the battery box close to the bulkhead i can jut about reach the selector cables on top of the gearbox, when i do this and move the cables by hand my gear selection comes good again for awhile?? :( im confused as to how this is possible as i dont seem to do anything to fix my problem??
