  1. I have the same problem! Like you I am assuming it must be an engine mount problem or a drive shaft problem but..... I've noticed it is worse if the front tyres are under inflated. I am going to get the front wheels/tyres check for alignment and true running before I go further. I'm also getting judder under heavy breaking. And finally, the whole thing is worse at the end of a long trip on the motorway. (Hot tyres???) I'll keep you posted.
  2. It was new brand new on October 2001. Its an 18??cc 115 hp TDi PD Virtually no smoke from the exhaust Oh yes, rev up stationary it will slowly climb to 4K revs but it takes several seconds, have not pushed it harder than that. If you try to drive it it will crawl away then switch to limp mode after a few hundred yards. Turbo all seemed fine. Was on an A road 50 - 60 mph. Then slight singing/hissing noise, power down a bit then big power drop and loads of white smoke  out the back!! Pulled over straight away, it carried on ticking over but I switched off and called the AA. I have found out Turbo (purchased and fitted by recon guys) is a like for like re-manufactured item, I assume they got the right one. Damage to engine not known. I've paid for a full recon and no extras were charged for damaged valve or pistons etc so I can only assume no metal got through to the engine but of course I've not see it with my own eyes. Thanks for your interest
  3. Following a turbo failure have recently had a both turbo and recon of engine done. After 8 weeks (!) and
