x reg 1.9 diesel galaxy cant get into ecu comes up with ecu lock out any ideas thanks

hi ive just changed gearbox ecu my problems with gearbox solved got second hand for 149 instead of 600 new

hi i have galaxy 2001 2.3lx front wipers go up but dont return unless heavy rain, its as though not enough power in motor to pull them back down,is this the begining of wiper motor failure,or linkage seizure, thanks.

hi still have problems with gbox galaxy 2.3, 2001, 4 speed auto only drives manually 1 2 3 gears, in drive stays in 3,tiptronic doesnt work, had transmission fluid changed but still the same,getting lots of electrical faults happening, stop check water, dash lights flickering,windscreen wipers going up and not coming down, does any one know if there is a common wiring loom fault with the galaxy many thanks

hi i am looking at changing my ecu on gearbox but want to know if anyone knows what info i need to get a replacement and if it is simple plug in replacement, gearbox playing up big time and dropped itself in 1st gear when in drive when i was doing 25 mph, shat myself lol, car has cost me 500 so far with diagnostics had transmission fluid changed but still playing up, i am sure this is all electrical and suspect ecu, does anyone know cheap second hand place to buy one many thanks for all help so far, mark

hi just had mine changed at fords because of engine management light code p0700,they only changed gearbox oil about 3 litres and screen filter plus gasket came to

most of the codes are from sensors on the gearbox i think although i try not to get involved in autos they are stressful in my experiance p0700 transmission control system, mil request- circuit malfunction p0715 turbine shaft speed sensor - circuit malfunction p0730 incorrect gear ratio maybe gearbox fault or somethinbg else that links these sensors, sorry cant be much more help, advise do not take to mr clutch. thanks for the help will investigate these sensors see if i can have them changed,did take it to ford for p0700 code they changed transmission fluid only the gearbox though not torque converter,came back out with p0700 and in limp mode so in hands of trade discriptions act for not doing the job properly and didnt have any other codes till they touched it,

what codes do you have? codes i have had p0700, 0x214,p0730,p0715,p1866,now got air bag alarm, coolant level alarm, something different every day it must be electrical do you have any ideas have had six diagnostics every time i get different codes thanks,

hi has anyone had, what i can gather is a electrical fault, have had 6 diagnostics done on car all giving different codes,have already changed transmission fluid as this was one of the codes,now have many more aswell. car been in limp mode for days but has now back to normal , engine management light still on aswell as airbag, does anyone know if this could be loose wiring or connection somewhere thanks
