a warning light as just lit up on my mk2 galaxy 2.3 2001 model, its a picture of an engine and it's a yellow/ orange light! anyone one knows what it's for? it's only just come on this morning!!

ha! thanks for that info. mechanic came and reported a rear engine mounting had sheared off, after removing the shield underneath the car. could this be right also? or is he takin me for a ride?

hi all, another newbie here! the past week or two, my 2001 galaxy 2.3 vibrated anything over 55-60 mph! {recently had the drivers side drive shaft cv joint replaced !!} it does vibrate right through the steering wheel, which seems to stop when i take foot off the accelerator. now today, loud noise from front end and engine, gearbox seems to be rockin backward n forwards especially when i take up drive, and theres a slight burnt rubber smell !!!!! managed to limp it back home and left it there !! any ideas anyone??? got a mechanic comin over later on but in the meantime anyone got any clues wot it cud be?? goin to be expensive...i just know it!!
