Hi Hoping you can point me in the right direction. I have a Galaxy 1.9TDI on an 04 plate, 42k mileage. I have an intermittant problem when motorway driving in that after a while of driving in 'D' mode, if i put my foot down to overtake / move lanes or slow down and then need to speed up again the power does not respond to my foot being on the pedal (think this is called kickdown mode?) I can get it back if i pull over and turn of the engine for 10 mins or sometimes if i gear down and then back up again Any idea what is wrong and likely charge to get it fixed (dreading large repair bill !)
