  1. Have you had a look at your intercooler for holes or damage? If you look through your lower grille under the number plate you should be able to see it with a torch, just check for damage.
  2. Could you take a picture of the area where the spring clip is please?
  3. Wondering if anyone has repaired a drivers seat armrest. It goes up and down but will not lock into its positions on the upwards travel. Its a bit useless without it as it slopes downward in my driving position and is about as much use as a chocolate fire guard.
  4. what can of noise or knocking is it doing? I had to get an intercooler from a main dealer as not avaliable yet so the same could be said of the rear trail arms. They do normally come as an complete unit
  5. I have a knocking coming from the passenger side going over small bumps etc, i have checked all components of the suspension and everything is fine droplinks tierod ends strut spring etc.. Its really annoying noise is anyone aware of any brackets , heatshields, pipework which could make this happen on the passenger side.bolt or maybe an exhaust clip or brackets any thoughts would be helpful?
  6. Angelippo check this link it explains the process very simple to do. Sat nav
  7. Most of the cars will share the same parts to cut down on costs. Sat Nav Have a look at this thread as it shows how to remove the trim, if i remember correctly this unit was held in by screws and had some connectors on the rear. There should be no reason why you should need a complete system as the control unit is just an electrically system to control the actual HVAC unit, which would be hidden between the bulkhead and the engine bay somewhere. Hopes this helps and i would say no harm in looking and seeing. The only issue could be a software update ie if the unit was from a 2011 car backfitted to a 2007 car as there was a big change in the systems.
  8. Looks like i was correct in my thinking then that the codes are just a implausible signal at some stage. I think this as i dont have any warning lights on at all so must have been a gremlin. Thanks for your help.
  9. I did a little help to understand the DTC codes which were visible on the cluster light check. They are : 42268 41568 41668 I am hoping they are just error codes by the ECU's when they have had an issue ie the ecu says "Something happened i am not sure what but i will store this code anyway so that you are aware etc"
  10. To answer your question regarding ebay look at this thread Sat nav
  11. Will this work as we are talking about a Mk3 galaxy and it doesnt share its body shape or parts with the sharan or alhambra?
  12. The unit is great except the radio reception is poor, the units gps receiver is just down the centre a little on a a metal sub frame.
  13. Once you find out let me know. Its one of the faults with having a chinese import.
  14. I have been told by my local ford garage that the cambelt needs changing at 120,000 miles i would air on the side of caution and change at 90,000 miles.
  15. Have no model or make but Square Unit OR Square Unit 2
