  1. Sorted  I sold the bloody thing.
  2. Thanks the dual control is on the front panel rear/front the air at the rear comes out N/S on the floor no vents on the roof so why do they state that its dual in the hand book can they [Ford] get anything correct:wacko: I will check everything and get back to you and thanks again.
  3. if the clutch is engaging then the sensor is working...... if the clutch is working and going around it SHOULD work...but it could have less gas than required to hold the refigeration cycle or the compressor is borked..... I 'd regass it as a start if that doent work new compessor time.... I recone if you gave it a bit of time the low pressure sensor would kick in (and the panel would flash on startup) as you proberbly have a gas leak. the regass has been done 700 Grams Drained oiled dyed the sensor I mean is the temp is it on the control panel at the front panel? the two little slots by the temp and fan control?
  4. No you read it wrong it was refilled in march as it was empty [bought it in February] and topped up last week it is still full the clutch and everything else is working I suspect the sensor I just dont know where it is? it is auto air con and manual air con.
  5. Climate control dual Mk2 1.9 Tdi galaxy ghia Ok had the system re-gassed during March working fine COLD Air blowing when engaged the air con? Last week it started blowing hot instead of cold so I took it back to have it checked no leaks so the guy topped it up with 3 grams as he said it was empty when he first did it in March. It worked again COLD but now it has started blowing hot again, my question is where is the sensor control? As there are no leaks? Or can someone come up with a solution or advice?
  6. Ok guys it is now sorted. The problem came in two sections/parts 1> MAF sensor 2> T-MAP sensor. Changed the pair of them. BUT make sure that the memory is cleared of all faults otherwise it wont solve the problem [Proven] by my mate> after fitting the aforesaid we took it for a run no difference> returned to his workshop and cleared the faults. Took it for a 50mile run under load uphill downhill every which way and hey presto running like a dream. Next week I am going to get Innotec turbo cleaner to get it the turbo nice and clean. :(
  7. Nope I aint forgoten it just aint sorted yet :(
  8. Thanks for the offer  . My mate said he will sort it out he is very methodical and I am sure he will achieve the finished article PS this is my 5th Galaxy but never had a problem before>>>>>>>>>>>
  9. Thanks for the welcome....Keith.... My mate is a retired Jag Technician he has had a look at it says "it could be anything and I mean anything" with all the sensors on cars today it is bloody "Ridiculous" just complicates matters to the extent of only Albert Einstein being able to grasp some sort of understanding, not even main dealers have the ability to pinpoint a fault it just goes on and on just like some of the threads we have read here and elswhere sometimes a problem is solved but most times they are not?
  10. Done that but it dont say if it is at fault or not could be the T-MAP or EGR So I need to clarify the situation :P
  11. Ok my first post here, galaxy 2004 1.9 tdi 115 BHP auto, the problem I have is this, loss of power when accelerating can happen at any speed or revs [limp mode]have had a few garages have a test run the answers differ somewhat, over-boost, under-boost? Can someone confirm that if the power to the MAF sensor is disconnected that if it then runs better that the MAF is at fault? :P
  12. Hello New here well a few weeks ago :P so just thought I would :P
