OK. So the shop says I have to change the engine... Can I take any other V6 engine and fit it in my car? I mean, would an engine that use to be connected with an automatic gearbox fit to my 6 speed manual? Can I take an engine from any VW V6? My current engine is a 2004. Which year should the new (used) engine be?
