  1. dont know much about galaxy electrics but...thought you would have to tap into the locking motor for the driver or front passenger doors as they control the locking. dont think you can central lock from the tailgate?but then what do i know my diy experience into aftermarket remote locking is limited to a mk 3 scorpio.

  3. on a run to cambridge this morning averaged 37.8 mpg at a steady 65mph can i join the oil burners club can i please :D

Had a few minor niggles, dead parking sensor and now cruise is showing signs of leaking vacuum hose syndrome other than that its a good motor,gobbles up the miles on the motorway in comfort, not too bad around town provided you dont drive too energetically.Sure lowered and up rated suspension would counter the body roll but adversely affect the motorway cruising,so ill leave as it is. :D ps and the climate control is super just set and forget :) :)

  11. HI i have 3 second hand parking sensors for sale if anyone is interested
  12. ditto, we also looked at the poxhall zafira before we got the galaxy the folding seats are great in principal,but seemed so flimsy. I know the galaxy ones are a pain to keep removing but they are more secure,would hate to be rear ended sitting in the back of a zafira.

  23. sorry to read about your sump pans guys,just out of interest have you got the engine undertray fitted? or was the absence of the tray cause of the corrosion?

  25. yes the 100,000 stigma no longer applies to modern cars, I think its resonable to expect a minimum 200,000 these days subject to regular maintainance.
