Simple question, my hand book for 1.9 Galaxy turbo diesel 130 says oil should be 5-40 quality but in my local shell garages the shelves are full of special diesel oil which is grade 10-40 and seems to be purely for diesel engines , while the 5-40 does not mention diesels. Who is right? What happens if i choose the wrong one?

Hi everybody, i wonder if anyone can shed some light on a problem I have encountered with my sat nav. I have just taken delivery (2 months ago) of a new Galaxy with factory fitted Sat Nav and have been very pleased with its performance, however over the last few days, when attempting to input data first thing in the morning I have been unable to get the computer cursor to move one way or the other by means of the right control knob. however these have been very cold mornings and later on in the day full functionality has been restored. The temperature readings in the car have been around 4.0 degrees centigrade. Has anyone got any info about this problem. Breaking News Today has been a fine warm day and the Sat Nav has been playing up all day. so it is nothing to do with the temperature. Into the garage it goes, but I have my doubts about what will happen , as the local ford dealer has told me that they have never seen a Sat Nav system except in a brochure.

can anyone tell me if i could play a DVD - RW with a recording of a TV programme made on a standard DVD recorder in this format or is the unit only capable of playing +R or -R format thanks for any help

Well thats the new car ordered, delivery Jan 28th 2005, one more question, can the sat nav unit warn of accident blackspots, i.e speed cameras. Thanks for the help so far.

Hi i wonder if anyone can advise me as to whether the sat nav system currently being fitted as part of the journey pack 2 in the Galaxy has a voice option to tell you where to turn etc. Can anyone tell me the make and model of the aforementioned sat nav unit. I am just about to order a new Galaxy and am considering this option. Thankyou
