  1. Hi Guys, on my 2005 Galaxy the heater is different to the early models. The glow plug is only available from vw or Fords and has two wires which plug into the ecu under the plastic over, this means that the coolant pipes have to be disconnected unlike on earier models. Wayne

  5. Hi again guys, today have bridged the outside sensor but still no life in the heater. Took the aux heater to bits today and followed the instructions on page 6, but the heater is different and looks like you have to remove the coolant pipes to remove the plastic cover to get to the glowplug. When taking the cover off the end all that is inside is the fan motor. My galaxy is a 2005 ghia with climate. Any help gladly received, Wayne.
  6. Hi all, have a dead booster heater on my 2005 1.9tdi with climate. Have tried to check the temp sensor which should be under the skuttle on the near side but can not see anything there. the only thing i can see is a connector attached to the plastic skuttle with 4 wires going in and the same coming out andcontinuing to the offside, can anybody help. Wayne
  7. Hi all, not long purchased a 2005 galaxy 1.9td ghia. Bought it as i was sick of being under my 3.0l omega Elite, I now find i'm in the same boat as a lot of other members THE DREADED BOOSTER HEATER. No signs of life at all, no smoke or any noise coming from it. The galaxy has climate control so I guess there is no switch to turn it on its fully automatic. Could my fellow members instruct me in the correct procedure it find of the correct fix. Many thanks, WAYNE
