I spoke to the garage (Ford main dealer) that sold me the car and they suggested I speak with DVLA. It wasn't brand new from them and had 3000 miles on it but would imply they didn't do any checking on it or didn't care that it was the wrong car so long as it wasn't stolen or had bad credit against it. I'll wait to see what DVLA have to say.

I supposedly own a Galaxy MkIII Ghia, it has the Ghia trim etc and was to me as a Ghia but during a visit to a Vauxhall garage I got my car valued, the sales guy came back with a printout for a Ford Galaxy LX. When I got home I have checked the V5 and it does indeed say Galaxy LX TDCI 125 6G. What do other owners have on their registration documents? Do they say Ghia if you own a Ghia. Thanks Kerry (Mr)
