The one's i've seen look identicle to the one in mine, have 2300 on the rocker cover, are in a Galaxy but it the coil packs are like the 2.0 version. I think the coil pack with 4 ht sockets are from later engines & would probably require a different ecu. the 2001 engine i fitted in my '99 galaxy had this type if a little charred from the under bonnet fire .

I don't know if this is of any use to you but I had a similar sounding problem with an audi last year, turned out to be a blocked exhaust...Caused by the shattered guts of the catalytic converter ( I had wondered where that occasional rattle was coming from) Two weeks before i sussed it.
