thanks mate, i will check all of those things. I definitely is something to do with the drivers door, if I turn the lights on the hazards come on too, but if I then open the drivers door and keep it shut partially i.e. not shut properly, the fault goes away. Any ideas how to undo the rubber gaiter? it looks like it is a twist undo thing but am mistaken? thanks for your help. Chris

This forum is good, got another problem now, Car is 51 plate Galaxy Ghia 2.3 petrol Auto, when i lock the car the windows roll down. Sometimes this happens when we ahve parked the car somewhere, a shopping centre etc, you get back to the car after a busy day shopping to find all the windows open !! So we have to take everything with us from the car just in case it unlocks its self and rolls the windows down and someone feels tempted to nick what you got in the car. Even have to take the detachable radio/cd player with us otherwise someone may get a
