push the slide switch on left stalk so that cruise control symbol illuminates on dash, then press rocker switch on the end of the stalk, remove foot from accelerator peddle, this engages the cruise control and sets the speed. Now you can use the rocker switch to increase or decrease speed, press firmly up or down and you will feel speed alter. If you brake, use clutch or use accelerator peddle you will disengage CC although the symbol remains illuminated on the dash. If you then press rocker switch again, cruise control is re-engaged. To switch off completely, use slide switch so that CC symbol on dash disappears. no particular speed required that I have noticed but only tend to use it on motorways etc Think that just about covers it.
