  1. As far as I recall it only monitors brake lights and head lights
  2. Have you considered getting your original reconditioned? http://midlandturbo.com for example

  4. Many thanks again for the tip with the cocktail sticks. I managed it today. Had to shave a tad off the length of the brushes though. On the downside I ended having to replace the brake vacuum pipe as I managed to split it when wrestling with the pump. What a pig to fit!
  5. Thanks for the photos Xavier. I will have a go later on in the week. :)
  6. I have replaced the brushes just can't get the motor back together again :-(
  7. Thanks. Spent ages today trying to get the pump back together after replacing the bushes. I have now given up.
  8. Anyone know of a good/cheap place to get a pump. Best I can find so far is GSF at
  9. I appear to have "lost" my nearside foglight bezel. Methinks some kind person has "borrowed it" Has anyone got one from a breaker they would care to sell me?

  11. Does your climate control have a de-mister boost switch which puts the fan on boost directed onto the windscreen and turns on the windscreen heated element? it may be stuck in. On the Galaxy there can be a tendency for liquid to spill from cups held in the cup holder on to the buttons.
  12. Hi, it's possible that one of the parking sensors is faulty. The easiest way to tell which one it is is to use VagCom. This should identify the culprit.
  13. Any A\C engineer worth their salt would do a quick pressure test before they re-gas a system which will at least tell you if there are any leaks.
  14. The display flashing signifies a fault with the A/C system. VagCom will help diagnose the problem. More than likely the system needs regassing, but there may be other related problems. Try contacting a mobile A/C repair agent who might be able to diagnose the problem for you. The buttons on the controller can become stuck/sticky from drinks held in the cup holders, but £700 to "unstick" them seems a bit steep!
  15. I think it's only available on the Ghia versions
