Thanks guys, I guess i'll be taking off the door panels this weekend and seeing what the damage is. I take it that it is straightforward enough to take the door panels off? i.e no hidden catches etc..

A few months ago the passanger front window was opened most of the way and mad a funny rattling noise, and when I went to close it the window made a bang noise as if something broke. I took it to the guy who does my services and he had a wee look and said that it has a broken linkage. I did not do anything about it and now the drivers side has done the same thing, only this time I had to manually pull up the glass up whilst operating the switch, it took lots of uping and downing and pulling of the window before I got it closed. Has anyone had experience of this and if so what's the parts I will need to fix cos I need to know if I'll have to rob a bank to pay fo the cost of buying parts from Fraud Motors. Thanks in advance

It's always the way, when you want to buy something you pay through the backside for it, but when you sell something you have to give it away! I just don't fancy having to pay Gordon Brown stupid amounts to get the road tax!! Hence the reason for wanting rid of it.

I suspect that this is a relay issue, but I thought i'd ask the question anyway. The problem is one minute the parking senors will work and then 2 mins later they don't. Also I noticed that one night when this happened the headlight warning sound (the one you hear when you open the door and you have left the lights on with the ignition off) did not work either. I'm looking at buying a climate control unit for my '03 Galaxy , does anyone know if it is a simple plug and play job? i.e remove the standard a/c unit from the dash and plug in the climate control........ Many thanks
