  1. Nevermind, fixed it. After reading a nice pdf on the fusebox layout, i checked the fuse, which the person i got it from, didn't know how to put the fuse in proper, and had missed the holder. After re-seating it, it worked a treat. Regards Lroyb
  2. Hi Managed to repair the broken cable. bought a disconnect block from 'the range' for 99p, trimmed down the connector, and it worked a treat, but my central locking is still caput. How can i tell if it's the ecu or the door motor. Don't fancy buying one, to find out it's the other one. Regards Lroyb
  3. Forgot to mention, Alarm works fine. After checking the door boots, I found that a brown cable (not in with the main pin section, kinda on it's own) is broken in the drivers door. All the other 3 doors are fine. not even a crack in the insulation on any of them. Due to the location of this, right at the plug (broken at the connector), it would be kinda difficult to solder. any idea's upon how to fix this cable Regards Lroyb
  4. Hi, I also have a P (97) reg 1.9tdi galaxy. I also have no central locking at all, either with key fob, or key. Electric windows are a funny one. Passanger door works from passanger door with ignition on and off, from drivers door works up and down, with ignition off, but will only work up with ignition on. Drivers window is none operational at all, i think the motor system is screwed. I think that they're all related to the ecu under the passanger seat, with i've taken out and cleaned (was water damaged, i think) there is a person on ebay that sells a mod to fix it instead of buying a new ecu, is this recommended?? Any idea's Thanks Lroyb
