Hi, Does anyone out there know of any workshop manuals for the 2001 petrol galaxy? I have had a look on the haynes site and there doesn't seems to be book made for this production of car only the earlier models. I have since bought a manual on cd which is poop and gives nothing away. There must be something out there!!

Hi, Thanks mk2vr6 for your comms, i have read the comms about the broken wires in the rubber gaiter, and will be looking into that but found your info interesting. Yes the alarm only sounds on 3 of the doors and the interior lights come on when the car is opened. When locking with the key i can hear the motor in the drivers door and the petrol cap locking only so your thoery sounds possible, so i will have a look into both suggestions. Many thanks

Hi, I have just purchased a 2001 2.3 galaxy with central locking problems also, and would just like to have somebody express there opinion. My car will not lock with remote central locking (changed batteries in fob), but will only alarm 3 doors on the car. And when it comes to locking with the key it will only lock the drivers door!!!! Somebody pls advise. Thanks
