White is, apparently, the new silver, which was the new black, in fashionable colours for cars. I've seen a white SMax which looked good. One tip though - give it a good polish when it's new and it'll be a lot easier to keep clean. The grey/black interior looks lots better than the blue one too...

Level one should give you what you need - it'll only go off if a door is opened (I think it uses the courtesy light switch), and the interior sensors which would be affected by your subwoofer are not active.

To be honest variable service intervals is very much a VW/Audi thing, and not Ford. They want you every 10,000 (or whatever, check the book) whether you need it or not.
