    hi. the only click came from the gearbox selector. when turn the key and press the brake i get click on gearbox selector and nothing more. but like i said i manage to get starter for 2 times, but because the car was cold and the glow plug light didn't came on the starter was cranking but not starting the engine. hope this help. thanks.Jorge

    Thanks. Batterie ok. Even i have add some leads to my batterie and same result, starter not cracking. Can be glow plugs relay? why the glow plug light don't came on (glow plugs faulty?). what is the advice? Change glow plugs or glow plugs relay or both? Can be the powertrain module control? Thanks

    hi. My galaxy tdi 110bhp from 2000 don't want to start. Let me try to explain, I have tried to start the car but the glow plugs light on dash board was not coming on. Result: not start! the starter turned but no starting. Ok. I have tried for 2 or 3 times and then not even the starter was turning. Now When I turn the key to on, no glow plug light on dashboard but also no starter. The starter don't turn. Can anyone give advice. Thanks. Jorge

    Hi. This is my first post and i would like to thanks in advance the help you may provide. I have a Galaxy 1.9TDI auto 110bhp Xreg (2000)mk1. Some times the glowplug light on dashboard don't came on and the car not start. Most recently (today) when i was turning the key to start the engine lights on dashboard on, but no starter. switch off key, switch on again and nothing again. 3rd time and was ok. car started. Some times glowplug light don't show on and i have starter but don't start but another times i have glowplug light on but no starter. Can anyone give some advice please. Thanks

    Hi to all This is my first time and i would like to introduce myself My name is Jorge, Portuguese living in UK for 7 years, married with 3 children, reason for buying a large car (my galaxy 1.9 TDI 110bhp auto 2000 mk1) mainly used by my wife to drive the kids to school. Hope to get on the forum most nights when family alow because i think this forum can teach a lot. Thanks to everyone :)
