No, the temp guage never gets above just over 90, however the STOP CHECK COOLANT did come on recently, have topped up with water only as it took less than 1 litre to bring back up to level, should I drain system and refill 50/50 water/coolant ?

Heater display flashes on start up but then goes off after 15 or so flashes, also heater blows but does not heat up? the garage that did the mot said they could look at it but I could expect a bill of over "

Hi can anyone tell me if all the superb advice for the 2.8 v6 applies to all models , ie pre 2000 and post 2000 as I cannot find any manuals for my 2001 v6 :angry2: any help much appreciated :angry:

:D Hi everyone, had my gal 2001 2.8 v6 for just over one year now,went through the mot fine......then came the advisory!! list was as long as my arm, but thanks to you all with so much good advice and info am looking forward to the challenge. will keep you posted with my progress or lack of it, " lol" .My warmest regards to you all
