hi there i am new here and must say what a great sight this is, within minutes i had found a post that answered most of the problem that i have. I just need to understand what was written then ill be getting somewhere considering my complete automotive knowledge could be written on the back of a postage stamp, what and where is the micro switch in the o/s door and how is this repaired replaced i love my galaxy and it has taken me to russia and back twice. I have kept it serviced through ford and let them do all thats ever needed to be done but i'am now unemployed through disability and ford are not getting any cheaper so i think this fix i will have to undertake on my own. Thanx in advance for any help and once again what a great site this is.

hi bazzoh i have the exact same problem but i know nothing about electrics what am i looking for when you say micro switch,oh and did you ever find out which fuse controlled windows any help would be great thanx neil
