chomping away at metal is a very scary thought!! i'll get it flushed and changed tmoro!! thanks for the info much appreciated, better to be safe than sorry... has anyone ever had problems due to this??

should emptying all the coolant and refilling be good enough? or has this potentially left me with some future 'gel' or rust inhibitor issues?

hello all ive got a 1.8 tdci lx 2008 galaxy with pink coolant/ antifreeze. Without thinking i topped it up with perhaps 3/4 pint of blue antifreeze. Will this cause any problems? Ive checked on the internet but so far with mixed answers..?? Some suggest this can create a gel which blocks the system, some say this is not a problem...also read its impossible to flush out the mixture... My gut feeling is to just get the coolant drained and changed. Thanks in advance
