hi, the smoke is comming out of the exhaust is a grey/black. i will check the bushes if possible and the shocks. as reguard the tdi dose it sound exspensive?, many thanks .

hi all I have a 1997 2.3 petrol which has started to smoke on normal acceleration which quite bad if your following behind not sure what to do, all so when going round left or right handed bends the rear feels as if its sliding round any help please. Im also thinking about buying a 2004 1.9tdi auto, Its done 128.00miles, fsh years mot, but they want £4700 im not sure if thats to much any advise please, many thanks

hi all, i have a heavy knocking and it sounds like metal on metal when going over bumps& pot holes, near side front. i have got 1997 2.3, I've tried to look 0n faq's but cant find anything any ideas please, ;) . thanks tony

hi, check oil dipstick for cream colured gunk on dip stick, all so under oil filler cap. it may be worth getting a compresion test,is the v6 the same engine as mk3 granny?. from what i can rember no special to change h/gasket rotten egg smell could be the cat as they smell of rotten eggs so i've be told. hope this helps.tin2.3

hi, i had the same problem on a mk2 granny, check to see if the front discs to see if they have warped or uneven pad ware. i hope this helps,
