The a/c on my old galaxy (1998 2ltr Aspen) worked perfectly for the 3-4 years that I owned it, I never even had to have the gas topped up. I've now upgraded (private sale) to a 2001 2.3 ghia but the air-con isn't working :19: the unit flashes for approx 15 seconds which reading this board, I now know indicates a fault. I took it to my local garage who have re-gased it and says there are no leaks but are unable to diagnose further as I need an auto electrian. I'm getting nothing at all, no light on the dash no nothing. I've checked the fuses inside and the ones by the battery, is there anything else I might be able to check myself ?
