hi all does any one know if a 4 bolt wiper mechanism is the same as a three ! i have broken the casting and can only find 4 bolt mechanisms and mine is a 3 !!

do you know if its on the fuse box tray ? if so do you know which relay it is ? or is there another box under there !? (cant find any other box there !!)

if the control box is not under the passenger seat can any one tell me where ford has moved it too ?

been here searching and reading for days now and cant get anywhere with the windows and central locking !! now the car has had the leak in passenger foot well BUT she has not got the box under the seat ! i have a loom running under the seat with one wire coming out and going to earth (brown cable) the passenger seat has been removed as i could not find the box !! I have checked all fuses under the steering wheel all ok (i say that incase there is fuse else where i cant find any though) I have checked all the door plugs for corroded and broken cables only had two nipped insulation on the boot door ! but nothing broken

cool ! its this box bit i cant find ! is there one on the mk1 even the previous owner said its the box under the passenger seat ! but i cant find it ! all i can see under there is a box with a red like button on top ! the aircon screaming was weird because it did not change pitch with engine rev's ie put you foot down the noise did not change pitch or speed with the engine it was a continual pitch !!

central locking ! but the key does not turn at all in the drivers door and you can only unlock from the passenger side and the boot just turns around and around !! lol not sure how i am going to open that !!

arrrr !!!! just got the car parked on the drive ! she has not got the black box under the front seat ! or i cant find it ! any ideas or help would be lovely ! going to take the drivers door card off in a bit as i cant un/lock the door from that side !!

ive got an electrics back ground so might take it apart and try to clean it up first lol ! hit with a hammer a few times see if it will work !!!

hi all !! just about to buy a galaxy but dont know if its a good buy or not !! could you advise me if it is ?! its a t reg 2.3 zetec ! known problems with it ! central looking dont work electric windows dont work windscreen wipers dont work air con was screaming but seems to off stop now ! a little bit of mold on carpets pull the seats out and take the carpet out and jet wash wet wash the seats (1 days work ) two dents one in front wing the other by back door should push out ! and a bit of a t-cut and wax (1 days work) newish tyres done about 117,000 what would you pay for it ?
