no still havent got them on, have a set but need to make up some brackets. could you put some pics up of yours please?

They are side bars, and I still havent got them. Am in the process of makeing a set, will post a pic if I ever get them finished. My 2 post lift needs new lifting nuts so cant get the car up to make them.

thanks guys for the help but on the lights dimming when pressing the button is on the way up and nothing when pressing down?

does anyone have a diagram for the electric windows / door piller wires? the problem is my passangers window wont go down from any switch, but if i try to put it up you can see the dash lights dimming as it trys to go up (it aint down!!) if I press the button down about 30 times the window goes down and works fine untill i switch the keys off, then its back to pressing the button about 30 times and that might not even work. had a quick look for broken wires but couldnt see any. thanks

thanks for such a great site, got my heater going (sounds like a 747 takeing off) and also replaced brushes in my run on pump, the only thing is after a 10mile drive in a nice warm car (1st time ever i had a warm alhambra) i left the engine running for about 30mins and the heater never shut off. is this normal? I have the outside temp switch bypassed. next job is to fix passeners side electric window. thanks again for all the help this site has given me.

ok, will try again. is there any where i could find a wireing diagram? found one on here but doesnt give all the pins.

have checked all fuses and all ok, checked wires and all ok if it needs reset how do i do that as vag com says no responce from controller?

ok replaced glow plug today, bypassed temp switch but no joy, didnt even here the fan trying to kick in/ vac com says no responce from controller, so cant see if there is any faults. any ideas????

found vacume pipe on mine to be split at servo and take off point.

stripped my heater down (redrilling and threading holes out) and found fan to be sized, freeed up and ordered new glow plug as it was dead. tested temp switch and found it need to be in the freezer for about 30 mins before switching. the question is do these switches give bother as i have seen on here they switch at 10c and some say 5c i think mine has to be frozen. has any one ever seen the fans to be sized before?

thanks econ and auto togeather done the trick, now time to sort the misting windows out. recirculating flap is the problem, any one here fixed one before?

My 2001 alhambra temp display was celius, some how it has changed to fahrenheit. How do I change it back? have tried holding the recycle button and temp up button togeather with no joy. any tips???
