Hi Chicosi, Thanks for the link but sadly they are they the 2007 not the 2007R. I need the "R" series as I have the cd changer and the seperate amp. Heres hoping Joey can help! Failing that, does anyone else know if the 2006R would fit at all? Cheers Mandy

Isnt the 6000 series radio/cd? I specifically want to have the cassette option. I am not very technical, but I understand that the 2007R has different connections due to the amp issue. I need to be able to just swap them over and I really like the 2007R. Mandy

Hi all, I have been searching the internet and ebay for a Ford 2007R RDS radio cassette to replace mine as the cassette doesn't work. I cant find one (although millions of decoding services for it!!) I have a 500o rds in mint condition from my hubbys mondeo that I can swap or I am willing to buy. Can anyone please help at all? yours hopefully Mandy

Hello everyone. Sorry to bother you but I tried to search but could not find the answer. I have a 1999 galaxy ghia x with a 2007R RDS radio/cassette/6 CD changer. Unfortunately the tape player is knackered and I want to replace it. Looking around I cannot find another 2007R only the 2006R or the 2007. I bought a 5000 stupidly assuming that it would have standard ford connections Doh! Is there another cd changer compatible tape player that I can get that can jut plug in, or do I need to keep searching for a 2007R? Cheers Mandy

I have just got an auto and I love it! I loved the manual one I had previously but I find this one more relaxing to drive. My gearbox has so far been good and it has 144000 on the clock! Mind you having just put the death knell on it it will probably blow up now! The fuel consumption seems around the same, just slightly less economical maybe. The tax and insurance are the same. I am glad I went for the auto.

I sometimes have window problems too. Mine seem to like opening during wet weather, only sometimes and they will occaisonally refuse to close again, as if the sensor "sees" something. Could there be some wet related issue with yours too?

I hope to get some answers and help later on and maybe I can help too! Mind you having a brain the size of a pea and a spectacularly untechnical mind this could be a bit ambitious!!!
