Your right thier crap I dont no about you getting free pollen filter they done full service on mine charge me for pollen filters and hadnt bothered to change them only because having trouble with air con that i discovered this, needless to say i dont use them anymore good luck suggest you check yours ask them to sign and date future filters before instalation as they are hard to change and time comsuming and tend to be left.

Hi everyone my mark 111 2006 has done 36000 and clutch is slipping when towing caravan. Caravan is less than 85% Anyone else had probs with clutch? How much to change anyone got any idea please. ;)

mine are still 5.6 at 21000 just front near side down too 2.6 all have even wear

Hi Traveller your right about booking in its a night mare must be us mk111 owners keeping them busy. My mpg was half town and motorway driving roof bars do increase mpg quite a bit. Your problem with air con sounds the same air con runs you can hear it cut in out but no cold air and as i said the gas level fine so frustrating my Toyota preview never let me down Ive had two since 2000 both reliable never mind i should have learned when i brought a mondeo the last shape spent most of the time in the garage with techs that did not have a clue fords could do with learning from Toyota on how to treat customers as well. Hi all had my mk111 2ltr tdci less than a week done 14100 0n a 56 plate air con not working hoping it was just gas, but hey i picked one with duff electrics. Ringway fords at Doncaster looked at it told me it is an electrical problem, could not trace the fault has now got to be booked in for two days any one else have same prob. I love the car drives great economy cant be faulted im getting 44.6 combined. Just had tow bar fitted removable

Hi everyone thanks for allowing me to join your site ,ive have found it very usefull and informative. I am hoping to pick up my oct 56 mk111 2ltr 140 end of next week. From what ive read so far i have made the right choice regarding engine. Normally have a toyota previa but no good for towing. Have had the last two shape mondeos the earlier one being more reliable than the latter. I am 53 carpenter ex royal navy engine room foster three teenagers hence the need for a 7 seater. We recently aquired a caravan and hopefully the galaxy is the one for the job. both of my toyota previa's never let me down but by some of the comments this might change with the galaxy ha ha. Never mind i am game for a for a laugh or cry and if i can find a ford dealer near howden east yorkshire that is capable of servicing the car properly (laughs out load to himeself) any way thanks again look forward to the experience. les alias romanron
