  1. I have a 2006 mk3 galaxy which I want to change the glow plugs as it struggles sometimes on start up when its a bit cold, then its fine. I've got the new plugs with the intention of doing it myself but having located the plugs thanks to this forum, it doesn't look like easy job. I can just about feel the tops of the glow plugs, would access be easier if I removed the plastic around the wipers and pollen filters? Thanks in advance
  2. Does anyone know how to re-program the remote key fob on the new galaxy. The key has 3 buttons, unlock lock and tailgate unlock. A new battery is fitted but still doesnt work so i am guessing it needs re-programming. The manual just says consult your dealer which sounds expensive. Thanks Chris
  3. Can any one point me in the right direction regarding the opening of the key fob to replace the battery. It is the "flip" type key fob with 3 buttons and the ford logo on the opposite side to the buttons. Thanks in advance folks!!
  4. Does anybody out there know if the wiring loom would be present for the electric opening rear quarter windows if i was to remove the panels. I have a Dec 2006 TDCI Galaxy Ghia which the rear quarters a permanantley closed. They appear to be hinged ready to open (not sealed shut). When i purchased the car if you paid for the Ghia X pack you got amongst other things electrically operated rear quarters, the switches being in the roof next to interior light. There is a purpose made "bulge" next to the window that would house the motors and blanks for the switches, but would the wiring/relays be installed just incase the buyer requested these when purchasing the vehicle or at a later date. I have read some of the posts which mention security issues but Ford's where offering these openers as a Ghia X package which i could not afford at the time. Any help would be great, Chris
