I am trying to ascertain the weight of my 2003 Galaxy 1.9 tdi Ghia so I can check if my son in law needs to take a towing test to tow my Galaxy and caravan. I have found the vehicle ID plate but can not see what the numbers mean V = 2510 B=4000 CD = 1240 F2 = 1280/1355 Which of these refers to the Gross weight and unladen weight?

I have just purchased an 03 1.9 Tdi Ghia for towing and have found the suspension seems to be soft and bouncy even when maintaining the 80 kg nose weight. Has anybody tried spring assister's to stiffen up the rear suspension? If what did you fit

I am new to Galaxies having just picked up an 03 1.9Tdi Ghia the seller got it serviced by an independent garage who did not reset the service indicartor so as soon as I turn on the ignition I get the message service due How do I reset for the next service interval? John

I am looking to fit a front towbar to my O3 Galaxy 1.9Tdi 130ps Ghia to save the clutch when reversing the caravan up my sod of a drive. Reversing did not do the clutch on my Skoda Superb any good at all it smelt for days, one of my wife's patients who is a lorry driver suggested the front bar, its the best thing since sliced bread I can now drive up the drive and also see where the van is going. I need to remove the front bumper in order to fit the new set of bars HELP how does it come off do I have to do anything to the parking sensors or lights to get it off Any advice would be appreciated :rolleyes:

I am new to Galaxy's and have just brought an 03 1.9 Tdi Ghia with 63K on the clock. Within 400 miles I lost fluid to the power steering fortunately the seller played ball and we split the cost of repair. I had good service from Power Racks Direct of Leicester with a reconditioned replacement and was back on the road within 3 days. Are there problems with racks on this model as I have not seen comments on steering problems when I investigated Galaxy's, Alhambra's etc
