Hi to everyone! This is my very first post on the forum. Having 3 kids is one very good reason to own a MPV, and if you believe you'll be needing transportation for more than 5 people sometimes, a 7 seater becomes a must. I am a bit of an outsider since I don't live in the UK but I think I will learn much things about the Galaxy as well as give my own feedback when using one. And yes, that's my "problem" at present: should I go for the new Galaxy? Anyone would advise me against it? I tested yesterday a Ford Galaxy 1.8tdci Ghia from May 2007 and it is a Ford service vehicle (not sure if it is called this way. What I mean is that it is a Galaxy used by Ford in sales dept). They're asking around 32K Euro (more or less 25,632 GBP) and since it is from Ford themselves comes with the remaining warranty period (2-1: which gives me more than 1 year warranty). It surely is very confortable, roomy, almost luxurious in many ways. Good handling. Not sure about some parts and how they are fixed though, but only time would tell. I wondered about the MKII too but I am not sure if I wouldn't be spending so much money when there is a MKIII already... Thanks to all and please share your thoughts :lol:
