hi. i thought the map sensor is completey different from the maf? anyway when i 1st got the gal the maf was knackered ,maf was showing on the fault reader, so i changed the maf for a new one, and the fault didnt show anymore one the fault code. but now its reading the manifold absolute pressure sensor as faulty. i have also had other things done like new fuel pump and cambelt etc. but its always gone into limp mode since ive had her? only seems to go into limp mode when trying to accelrate up hills or when loaded?

hi all. my gal (and me) need help. she is ill and goes into limp mode quite alot? i have a fault reader, and when plugged in, throws up code 00575 which reads manifold absolute pressure sensor. i have looked for this sensor in my haynes manual but it isnt listed in there? does anyone no where this sensor is situated and the price and best place to buy one? she wants to tow a caravan very soon but at the moment is too ill to manage it. once she gets this sensor she will feel a lot better (i hope)? the car is a 1997 1.9 tdi ghia 80ps hope someone can help her? thanks.

hi. same thing happened to my gal diesel after new fuel pump and cambelt were fitted? i took it back to the garage and the said it was caused by FUEL RUN BACK??? anyway the changed the pipes from the pump and injectors and now is all ok? hope this helps?

hi. i managed to get another secondhand pump from breakers with vw part number 028-130-110h and 510-1-bt-4015 the pump part numbers on my car is vw 028-130-109h and 510-bt-4015. the garage fitted the pump, but the car would not fire up, so the changed the electrics from my old pump to the new pump and tried again. this time the car started, but revving up to maximum revs on idle???? so the garage changed the electrics back and put the old pump back onto the car. the garage then advised that i need to get the exact same pump with the exacts numbers that are on mine, but VW told me that the code vw 028-130-110h is the the newer part number that took over from the code ending in 109h? now im stuck? i have been searching breakers etc. for the number that ends in 109h, but they just seem to have the number that ends in 110h? can anyone tell me where i can try to find this part please??? im at wits end ,so any leads will be much appreciated.

lmao!!!!!!!!!!! :angry2: thats soooo typical of frauds. phone them up for a part number and they still cock up. :) anyway. i had two faults when the ecu was read 1. was the maf (which has now been changed and fault code gone) 2. code read injector pump.my local garage have said that its the injector pump knackered. i took it to a diesel specialist and they have said the same thing. the symptoms are juddering whilst driving and poor idle (also goes into limp mode every now and again). before i pay for another pump can any1 confirm this is the case or am i just wasting good money?? any help will be much appreciated. thanks.

hi all. im trying to read the part number on my bosch diesel fuel injection pump, but the numbers are faded and i cant read the numbers?????????? all i do know is that the ford part number is 1010-369. does any one know what the bosch part number would be from converting the ford part number????? please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hi just been out in car and it seems to not go above 70/75 mph? it seems to be more juddering at idle also when traveling at low speeds? does any1 have any clues? please help?

hi. my 1997 1.9 tdi gal was chugging at idle and low speed? the glow plug was flashing. i had the codes read which resulted in 1) maf 2) fuel injection pump. i changed the maf and seems to have more power, but the other problems are still there (seems to be missing?) had the codes read again and just one fault now the fuel injection pump? had the fuel filter changed, but no joy. there seems to be a build up of back pressure in the air box (indicating that the timing is out?) can it be the timing or what else could it be which results in the reading being fuel injection pump (are these a common problem to go?) i dont want to spend a lot buying the pump if it isnt this? any ideas????????

WHOOOOO HOOOOOO? typical though the maf on my gal is the dearer one (there is two listed) @
