Ohh that's rather handy. ( I don't have a Galaxy yet and this will allow me to decide what options for when we do get one ) Plus it'll please a lot of folks that are missing their SatNav manual that Ford take out of the glovebox as the 3D view doesn't work. Many thanks for posting this.
Check if there is an on/off switch on the back of the computer - sometimes these can get knocked into the off position  The on/off switch will be next to where the power plug goes in. Failing that - it's likely that as the other posters said, it's the PSU and a good brand can be had from about
Last time I looked, and it was a long time ago, motherboards with onboard VGA do compromise performance, even when not using the onboard graphics. The Evesham recovery disk may be set to not work on anything but an Evesham motherboard/bios, therefore a HDD transplant may not work in the manner in which you envisage.

The best defragger is JkDefrag. It's free, constantly updated, very fast, uses little system resource, and is configurable if you are that way inclined. I played about with a lot of the defraggers including paid ones, and I found this is the best, http://www.kessels.com/JkDefrag/
Media Streamers are fine till they go wrong - then they are a right pain in the backside and you end up spending the weekend fixing the thing rather than looking after the kids (says my wife)
I don't know much about the pre-Mark 3's but what year are you looking for, as the Road Tax on anything registered after 2001 that is rather thirsty will be expensive as the Government want to stop the "Chelsea Tractors" brigade.
Hi Folks, Joined as our family is increasing in size (from zero to two sprogs in 18 months) with one or two more to follow in the next few years if we find the time to place the order. Finding it a struggle to fit all our stuff in a normal car - double buggy + all the other gubbins takes a lot of room. Not bought anything yet, a Galaxy is top of the list so far - just need the dealer to come up with an offer I can't refuse  Cheers, Steve
