Hi, I have a Galaxy 1.9 TDI 53 reg. I've had problems with the central locking, an auto electrician told me that it's the multifunction module that needs replaced. They said it used to be under the passenger seat in older models but mine is behind the steering wheel? I've spoken to a Ford dismantler and they have some used ones but I can't locate it. Does anyone know how we get to it to get the parts number from it? Also after reading some other posts on here it seems the door wiring will need checked, how do I get the door jams off? do they twist? Don't want to cause more damage in the process. Any help would be much appreciated Kirsty

Hi, was just wondering what year is your galaxy? Mines 53 and was told I would have to buy a new central locking control module because a used one would not work? do you think i've been given false information or is that a different part? Was quoted

Hi, is that part the central locking control unit/module? I have been told that mine needs replacing but it has to be purchased new through a dealer because a used one will not be recognised by my car? Any info would be much appreciated. Kirsty
