Hi All Quick update we have finally managed to get a new instrument cluster and have plugged it in and the speedo is out by 10 MPH the ABS and handbrake light as well as the Airbag light stay on ...... We haven't got ABS so can't understand why this light would be lit up and we are assuming the handbrake light is on because of the ABS light. Can anyone give us a clue on what to do next? Any help greatly appreciated !!! :unsure: :) Thank you

That's a shame as the auto-electrician says we need some new clocks !!! Thanks for the thought .... If they turn up please let us know as we are having trouble sourcing any apart from special order through Seat themselves !!

Hi Beyond Help We have got the bog standard dash .... not the one with the door open function does this make a difference?

Hi Mumof4, Thanks for the reply :huh: Will try disconnecting the battery to see if it resets the light :16: We aren't driving the car ATM because of this problem ...... I'll have to see if the auto-electrician will come out to us we have only ever taken the cars to him so hopefully he'll come and see us *fingers-crossed*

Hi, I'm new here and have searched the forums but cannot find a problem quite like the one we have on our Seat Alhambra petrol ...... The speedo, rev counter, temp gauge and fuel gauge are not working although the digital mileometer is working ..... Also we have a flashing oil light but do not know whether this is connected to the dials not working or is a separate problem altogether. The fuel light lights up and goes off but the needle then moves backwards we rang our local auto electrician who thinks we need new clocks does this sound like we do to anyone else or could there be something we could try before forking out on a new instrument cluster? Any help would be much appreciated !! :huh: :16:
