Yes..those wiper spindles...Grrrr...I knew to be very carefull when trying to free the spindle from the cast Iron arm, but I still managed to break it!! So be very carefull...bought a second hand one online, replaced it and it all works perfectly now :blink:

I have had this problem for a while now, and managed to keep out of the rain....But MOT round the corner..so they need to work... I removed the wiper arms from spindles, and have removed the 3 bolts holding wiper mech to body, unplugged motor and unclipped cable catch... Its all floating loose, I just can't remove it from the bloody car....wiggling it about does not help..... anybody have a realistic idea of how to remove it, without ripping pipes, and damaging the car????

Jeez, I have just bought a ford Galaxy 2002 1.9 Zetec tdi auto, I have power loss, and have to restart the engine to get power back...Damn am I glad it's got a warranty.. I'm taking it back tomorrow nd I'll mention the cracked intercooler..
