I was listening to the radio in my galaxy and decided to put a cd on (have the changer in the back) when i pressed the cd button nothing happened. I turned the head unit off and the screen displayed a colon, a letter m and a small square box all in the lowest line of the display. Now when I switch the HU on, the backlight comes on, I can listen to, and select any track off any disc but only from the rear speakers and that is all. I have no volume control, no radio, no bass/treble, no fade/balance and a blank backlit display. Anyone expereinced this before (i'm guessing not!) or better than that got either a 5000rds or 6000rds with cd changer controls for sale. Must be the galaxy fit not focus, had no luck on ebay :)

I have the same issue. can't find a blown bulb anywhere. will try my brakelights later. :)

Hi just found these forums while looking for advice about child seat installation. Anyway, my name is Gav and as you can probably guess I'm a postman. Had my galaxy for a couple of months now after trading in my Focus. I have a 51 plate 2.3i Ghia and apart from the fuel guzzling I'm really happy with it.
