I have a similar problem with the rear off side window, sometimes it worked with the drivers control then it wouldnt and only worked with the rear door control then it didnt, then only worked with the drivers control now neither of the switches work for the rear off side window. The windows still work by using the key in the drivers door so i know its not the motor at fault. not too good at car electrics but will look at replacing the switches eventually.
