I tried this with mine as that Blind Spot is Deadly, but i could not get the wiper arm off. (must admit did not try very hard as i was pushing for time. Would like to know how you go on , then if it works ok maybe i will give it another try. RussT :lol:

I put 4 new tyres on last year which where not reinforced and I have had no problems with them. I do not, do a lot of motaway driving I mainly drive on th A & B roads and have not noticed any difference in handling or performance in any way. It makes you wonder who is right ! As every one as differnt opinions on this subject. RussT

I had the same problem on all four wheels when I went to get a new set of tyres. We took 3 off with normal socket hammered on, but the forth had to be chiseled off. Hence I replace them with normal studs. Ok I lost the security of having my Alloys pinched. But the thiefs have all the equipment they need to getting the security nuts off.. (so why do we bother putting them on) And I have got peace of mind that if I get a punture on a dark winters night I know I can the wheel off.

I have a problem with my heated screens. Once pressing the switch they take for ever and never really clear before they auto switch off. Is it a normal problem with the Galaxy or have I got some sort of problem. My veichle is a 1997 2.0 ghia and the only thing I can find which may be part of the problem is I have an under size battery on. This as been since I bought the car 2 years ago and has always started it fine so I did not see the point in changing it.

I have a 2007 r RDS CD Compatibale Radio in my Galaxy 2ltr Ghia (97) , with no CD interchanger installed. Does any body know where the cheapest place is to get one installed. or is it easy enough to buy on the WWW and fit myself ?

I had a similar problem last week (interior light flashing) It was caused by the rear passenger door switch. the rubber seal had split and was getting water in and shorting. Wonce I took the switch out and cleaned the connectors and fittet a new rubber seal it was fine.
