I have a 6 months old S-MAX 1.8 TDCi (with cruise control). Whenever I moderately accelerate from around 2100 rpm the engine vibrates and makes a lot of noise. It also happens if I have the cruse control activated and the road goes slightly up-hill (I live in Denmark, so our hills are VERY flat). If I press the pedal harder it goes away, but it is a big annoyance with the cruise control. I

I have a 6 months old S-MAX, and recently the fan started to make noise. The dealer says it probably is due to leaves stuck in fan or pollen filter, and suggests that he disassembles the fan and blows it clean. However he also says that I have to pay for this because Ford refuses to pay for this (although the problem should be quite common, especially if you park over dry leaves). Is there anyone with similar experiences?
