  1. Oops!! :blink: It wasn't meant to be that big let's have another go.
  2. Here is some info from the Seat Alhambra user manual that you might find useful. When I get home I will check to see if the 2 seats without integrated child harness have Isofix anchorage points.
  3. I have an 8 month old SX 130 Tdi. And to answer some of your questions:- The rear vents will not blow cold air when the climate control is set to "Auto", however when you come out of "Auto" to "Normal" or "Econ" then the rear vents can and do blow chilled as required. There is a +/- 3 deg. C limit front to back, with the front being a master. The SX 130 Tdi does not have Sports suspension as standard, if it had Sports suspension fitted as an optional extra then it would have alloy wheels as well as the two are bought as one package.
  4. Generally what people consider as resin from trees, is in fact droppings from insects etc; so far more corrosive to the paint.
  5. SEAT do some custom rubber mats for the rear section and for the centre section, IIRC they are designed to cover the whole area with cuts outs for the seat mountings.
  6. Oops :lol: need to clarify a few things about that last statement.
  7. Can anyone throw some light on whether you can now get your car serviced by a third party during the warranty period? And still have a claim under the warranty if there is a problem. The company car drivers here are all talking about it.
  8. My local Seat dealer in Bournemouth;
  9. I have been driving a company car with auto dimming rear view mirror, and it is one of those things you think you can do without until you use it. The change is quite subtle because in most cases it detects brighter than nomal headlights from a far distance, so by the time the offending car has got close you don't realise it has full beam on, the change back to normal is also very subtle.
  10. Just to add to what is required for driving abroad. In Spain for certain (and I stand to be corrected on this, France as well), you need a bright reflective jacket, you know the sort of thing that breakdown services and policeman wear at night.
  11. Have you looked at the SEAT Alhambra's? The SE variant has loads of goodies and is cheaper than the Galaxy.
  12. GANDORF, I was reading an old thread that you started, about thrust bearing noise what was the outcome? Did you take it back to the dealer? Julesanth
  13. Some Captain's chairs have removable arm rests. One simple push button located to the rear of the arm rest.
  14. When I wanted a seventh seat for my Alhambra SX, my local Seat dealer got me a brand new one (with integral child seat) from a local motability centre. Apparentely they take MPV's, rip all the seats out so they can get wheelchair ramps in. I only paid
  15. The problem with fixing your laptop to the roof, assuming you do overcome the mounting problem, is heat dissipation. Make sure all air vents are clear, mount it with a gap between it and the roof if possible. Surely some way of mounting it to the back of a seat is the best option. It is possible to run a aux screen from a laptop, cables are readily available but an aux screen (LCD, most probably) would probably cost more than the laptop. What about buying one of the new portable DVD players? Like the sort Panosonic and Goodmans sell, about
  16. What about the sound? It must be distracting if you have the volume up loud on your laptop.
